The appster strikes again!

The night before we left on our travels, Apple struck again. Here is the story:
Mom went out to the garden to turn off the watering sytem when she heard a peculiar noise in the corn. It was a crunching sort of sound. So she sent Jelliot out to check what it was. Aaaagh disaster! Apple had gotten into the corn and stepped on the stalks and ate them. There are only a few survivors. Of course she got in trouble and was taken back to her house. We then investigated why she would do such a thing. It turned out that Dad had harvested some ears of corn that evening. He then took the stalks and fed them to Apple. She liking them so much, went through the electric fence to get some more. Thus this is the end of my tale.

I have one more thing to add to the list of things eaten by Apple:
1. A leather belt. This was how we hung her bell on her neck.

God Bless,
Heidi

  1. Dear Heidi,

In defense of the humble "Apster", try, if you can, to put yourself in her hooves. What was it like for her morale, to have a cow leather belt on her neck? Why the other cows in the borough would see her as a blatent and cavalier traitor, a regular Benedict Arnold, as it were! Ms. Heidi, Apple has a fine character to stand up for her kind and chew off the oppression and exploitation that that leather belt represented. Apple you are one courageous and loyal bovine!
